VeKams (pronounced vee-kams) is a guitars, bass and drums quartet from Richmond, Virginia. Incorporating mandolin, dulcimer, ukulele or whatever else is within arm’s reach, the band creates a quirky mélange of musical goodness—taking listeners from straight-up guitar pop to rollicking country-western to gothic lullabies and junky folk-rock. They’re wide-eared musicians with great songs and a lively show. Dig it.
