Out of Richmond Hill High School, just north of Toronto, velcro formed sometime around the end of grade 10 or something like that. A 5 song EP was recorded and released (Enriched Rock) in 2000 which includes fan fav. (still) Papaya and the hit single Winnie Cooper. In the past few years the band has played many many shows in and out of Toronto, while all four members of the band are 22 and are nearing the end of their post secondary education studying everything from computer science to music to marketing to journalism.
the band will be concentrating on writing new material in the coming months with the target of eventually recording a full length album. hopefully along the way will come a new website, lots of shows and some videos.
We are going to everyone of our friends and personally asking them for their help in the making of our next record!

We worked with an amazing bunch of people on this record including Dave Cooley of Citizen King fame, who also recently produced the latest release from The Silversun Pickups. Also Mike Moor, who's worked with just about every Brit band of the 60s and 70s-including The Rolling Stones! Trombonist Wycliffe Gordon makes an appearence as well.
Hey, how are ya? I just wanted to let you know about this new project we're doing. It's called Sister Morphine and it's some kick ass hard rock. Have a listen to the tunes..... www.myspace.com/officialsistermorphine

Hey guys. Were putting togather a show for Fri Sept 8 and were wondering if you guys want to play. There will be six bands preforming for about 30 mn each. We already have 5 hour limit confirmed and are working on other bands right now. The fee to play is $200 because it is a friday show. You will get about 20 tickets per band member but we can make arrangements if you need more. This show will be our most advertised show so far and we plan to spend some serious dough on advertising. If you are interested msg us back. Thanks and we look foward to working with you guys.
NP about the add I like yours guys sound. The baseball pic I had up as my default was from the Staten Island Yankees park the real NY Yankees minor league team. I'm not a huge yankee fan either but I like watching baseball and The Mick is my favorite player.
You guys ever play in Michigan or Windsor? Keep rockin'!
