Velvet Corpse started out as a dream of Sideshow performer John Chaos to front a punk rock band for one time in his life. John Chaos joined forces The Owl, Kitty Hunt and J-Dirty to form the first version of the band. Songs were recorded, shows were played and records were sold. But this first version of the band end just as fast has it started. John Chaos left for Europe to tour with his Sideshow. So thus ended the first Version of Velvet Corpse.
While in Europe, John Chaos stayed in touch with The Owl and Kitty Hunt. And when he returned in August from his trip he wanted to return to the stage with Velvet Corpse. But the line up did change. Kitty Hunt moved from Bass to Lead Vocals and John Chaos moved to playing the Bass. The band also welcomed there new drummer Spoon(from Responsible Johnny). The the line up change the band became more focused on Spreading the News about the New World Order that was all around us. With there music they did what they could do to put a spot light on what Big Brother was doing. This version of the band got the chance to play with some great bands such as Michale Graves(Ex-Misfits) and Blitzkid. But shows became few and far between and peoples moods changed. And so Velvet Corpse went dormant
