About me: My name is Brian Shipley and I co-founded Velvet Tone records with San Francisco recording artist Keith Varon. Via my work with Keith and this label I have developed relationships with artists and industry professionals all over the country including, managers and label executives of bands like 311, Cake, the Fray, John Mayer, etc... And executives of companies like Myspace, Ichannel, Mytracks, Red Light Management, etc. With that said, my passion is discovering and exposing new and developing artists. In addition to hosting this station, I send out a newsletter periodically with a featured artist and free download from that artist.
