The gaming world today is mired in a complex system of various stereotypical attitudes regarding female gamers: the attitude that we do not belong here in the gaming world, the attitude that we are unable to fight with and alongside the males on a competitive and professional level, the negative stereotype that female gamers are unattractive in some way, the assumption that females must be labeled “girl gamers,” to distinguish them from “gamers.”
We seek to eliminate these attitudes.
Who are we?
We are mothers and daughters, wives, sisters, artists and dancers, poets, scholars and business professionals.
But above all, we are GAMERS.
We are the Venamus Vixnz, a true sisterhood of gamers united by common bonds: the desire to completely and irrevocably change the face of female gaming, the fierce hunger to compete and win at a professional level, and the knowledge and confidence that we have within ourselves the abilities to accomplish all that we hope and strive for.
