    ..VendooZa - A straightforward rock band from Chicago, with its influences firmly entrenched in classic British and American rock and R&B. VendooZa's members came to the forefront and gained immense popularity playing in some of the earliest bands to come from the Chicago Punk/New Wave scene in the late '70s and early 80's. Lead singer Dave Springer with Tu Tu and the Pirates and The Sharks, Guitarist Terry Fox with Clox, Bassist Jimmy Demonte with the Swingers and B.B. Spin, Guitarist Tony Karagas also played with Tu Tu and the Pirates and The Sharks and Drummer Jeff Wilson played in the neo-glam band Victoria, which became the renowned T. Rex "tribute band", Futuristic Dragon... ..VendooZa's music is direct and to the point. Their lyrics reflect the urban experience of the 21st Century. Their professionalism and combined experience makes for concise, yet spontaneously arranged songs that are meant to be seen and heard. Dave Springer's on-stage performance is [and always has been] cutting edge and highly exciting... ..Individually, the members have all held critical positions in the second coming of the Chicago music scene. While Terry and Dave were promoting guerilla loft concerts in the Randolph/Fulton Market area, Terry was also managing and booking bands in the earliest Punk clubs like OBanion's, Tuts and Exit... ..Each member of VendooZa evolved with the changing musical landscape that developed in the 80's and then into the 90's. Bassist Jimmy Demonte was also the mainstay of the rhythm section of the celebrated Chicago band, The Insiders, for over 15 years. Tony Karagas, A.K.A. Mel Torment, is a high-voltage guitarist that puts a serious charge into his guitar each time that he straps it on. These guys are musicians and professionals with a desire to play and perform with precision.
