Venereal Messiah was formed in the Spring of 2005 by three like-minded friends that wanted to put together a brutal death band for fun and play shows. Kris (bass) formerly played,recorded, and toured with Agiel. Barrett (vo-kills) formerly played drums in Rasp, and now owns and operates the mighty Sevared Records and has released such worthy bands as Artery Eruption, Jasad, Putrified, Mental Demise, and many more!! Mike (guitar...aka the Brutal Postman!) is the only non-vet of the 'metal' scene, playing bass for Tenth Ward, a local hard/progressive rock trio in the Rochester, NY area, for over 10 years.
In September 2005, Kris packed up and moved to Denver for career possibilities. Barrett and Mike decided to forge ahead under the Venereal Messiah name, with Mike taking over the drum programming duties. The guys are optimistic that they will continue to create the brutality first heard on their 'Hooked Flesh' demo, which is available now thru the band and Sevared Records (www.sevared.com) as well as released, with additional songs, as part of a split on Septic System Records, released in 2006.
2007 saw the release of a split with Chainsaw Dissection and then their first full length, Decorations of Decapitations, which includes EVERY note the band has ever played!! Summer of 2008 saw Kris re-joining the band, just in time for a couple planned splits and possibly the next full length platter of sickness!!

Hail Satan! STURMGEWEHR 666’ recording session goes right along with the schedule. After successful and effective recordings of vocals, solos and samples now comes the turn for bass guitar.
