The Vengaboys are a Pop Eurodance group who originated in The Netherlands. They where formed by two DJs (DJ Marsland and Delmundo) and four dancers (Kim, Denice, Robin, and Roy) touring in an old school bus. Later, it appeared that it was the new project of the Dutch DJs Wessel van Diepen & Dennis van den Driesschen. In 1997, the name Vengaboys was thought up during a recording session for Nakatomi, which a previous project of Wessel Van Diepen, where many times the Spanish word 'Venga' (come on) was repeated. As the letter V is pronounced similar to a B in Spanish, "Vengaboys" is pronounced as "Bengaboys". The creators behind Vengaboys were the composers Dennis van den Driesschen (DJ Danski) and Wessel van Diepen (Delmundo). They have members from Brazil, Hungary, Tobago, and Trinidad. They enjoyed a huge commercial success in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Some of the members have left the group and some have returned. Members Robin & Roy have been replaced by Yorick & Donny.

Hello Vengaboys (and girls). I am coming in from Trinidad in November to the Netherlands for my "Licensed to Chill" tour. Who is the Trini in the group by the way? I'm still not sure.
I'll be in Hengelo on Nov. 28th, Muziekgieterij, Maastricht on Nov. 30th, then off to London to rock the Purple Turtle Camden in London on Dec. 1st and later on I'll be in Belgium at the Spirit of 66 in Verviers on Dec. 9th.
Hope to run into you sometime out there in the NL.
