In our attempt to capture sounds similar to the surf classics of the 60's we recorded the majority of the album live and decided to keep
modern production techniques to a minimum. Although we all enjoy many different styles of music, we found it refreshing to get away from
complexity and were excited to keep it limited to four people and their instruments.
Drawn to the surf style through common elements found in music from 60's garage and vintage rock 'n roll, to lounge, jazz, flamenco, and punk, this instrumental surf rock group formed in early 2005. Their desire was to draw on all of the above influences and fuse them together in the surf genre. Their diverse tastes have created an eclectic mix of songs that retain a vintage surf sound.
