About me: Check me out at www.thevenicecafe.com I am a rather Frankenstein-like creation, the product of two mad scientists if you will. On a chilly fall day in Benton Park, in Sept of 1988, I was born. Bits of mirror, broken glass, discards, and what others dared to consider trash are what makes me who I am. I have been groomed over the years by my two fathers, Pahl and Jeff. Many lived in, on, and around me, moldng me into what I have become today. I haved loved, and I have lost, all the while evolving. Rarely has one entity known so many friends, sang so many songs, painted so many pictures, and shared so many laughs. In the not-so-distant past, I lost one of my fathers, but Pahl lives on through me, those around me, and my family. Everyday we miss him. You and all of your friends should come see for yourselves. I have stories to tell and music to share. The beer is always cold, the food is always good. And when you are with me, there are no strangers, even if things seem a little strange. I am VENICE...

I had my marketing cap on about a week ago and with all the bad news; the Taliban in Pakistan, the looming Chyrsler bankruptcy, the new flu epidemic, etc; I decided to go with a more optimistic theme for this summer in a bumper sticker (old school). I think its working. There are currently a little more than 50 cars in the Branson area sporting this lil’ beauty. (Yes, I comped them) What do you think?
