thanks so much chris, i recieved the cd today!! yay i waited soo long for it to come out again lol, bloody awesome cd, thanks for signing it as well, made my day :D please keep it up and hope to see another album in the future :D, from nick aka the aussie guy who keeps messaging you lol
Hey chris, i haven't been on my laptop for a while, but today i came back on and saw the new electric bsg II ad with bam on it....is the song in the background by you? it sounds so addictive and i recognised the voice. Also at last i can buy a cd :D is the price of $3 shipping actually for australia? thanks, nick
I'm just dropping in and listening to yer tunes like I always do at school and just realised that I don't think I've ever commented on "Morning"?
anyway it's marvellous. the dreamy synth combined with the shrieking effects and solid drum pattern blend very well. are you putting vocals on it? I really hope you are 'cos it sounds like it would be an amazingly beautiful song with some of'em emotional vocal tracks of yers, heh. good luck.
hey chris! i was listening to repeats of radio bam and heard about what happened to you when you were walking and some jock or something goes 'haha look, an emo with a six pack!' and you go 'look a frat boy without one' (dunno if i wrote it right :P) i loved that line haha, good on ya, i can see that not only does your music rock but you do too :D keep it up, hope to hear you on radio bam one time, cya nick :D
Hey chris, I just wanted to drop by to say i loved your demo of 'careen', that's actually my favourite song from venomous so i was excited, but i have to say i loved it without the keyboard this time, sounded great. Keep it up, from a huge fan on the otherside of the world, Nick a-p ;)
that Careen vid is extraordinary. it's got a lot of heard bro. it's beautiful.
Tech One is damn good too. needs some bass though. well, actually it might have bass for all I know. MySpace cuts a lot off of the tracks. but I dig the synth/keys and how they interact with the drums. nice sequencing. that bridge just before 1:50 with no drums is splendid. a very interesting and strange piece of work. mesmerizing.
Jus thought Id drop a line see how you guys are doin. I got your album awhile ago and Its still rad. If you ever play a show in wisconsin thatd be awesome
new track is absolutely real. the captivating, loud lead synth-ish stuff is just awesome. and it works surprisingly well with the semi-chaotic yet thoughtful 'tronic percussion tearin' it up in the background. and the vocal performance is obviously stunning. it always is.
"Careen" is another atmospheric track, sounding optimistic, melancholic, depressing... I could go on for ages. it's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" indeed.
oh, and appreesh for keeping up the very '00s emo track titles yo :D
