.. ...... .................................................................................. ....................................../>.. .. .. ...... .. .. ..Venomous Concept is Outlaw Punk. We do what we want – when we want. Our music is an historical footnote of what we grew up on. It is a raw and authentic combination of hardcore punk and grind – Swedish and Japanese – English and American hardcore classics the way we see it. Collectively, I could not even begin to tell you how many records we’ve been involved with, but in short – our main bands are Napalm Dearth and Brutal Truth, but those who know us, can track us through a ridiculous amount of recordings. Personally I am on somewhere around thirty something records – maybe… not sure .. .. We started the ideas for this band back in 2003 or 4. I was talking with Buzz Osbourne about doing a punk band for years, but never really got around to it. I was traveling with Napalm on one of their runs, when Shane and I put the initial pieces together. The end result was a hellish place in LA where Buzz, Danny H, Shane and I recorded the first record, Retroactive Abortion for Ipecac. We did one show with Buzz and schedules put the band in a studio world of trading tracks and ideas here and there. Shane switched over to guitar and we added Lilker on bass. For those nerds out there who crap on about the shift… there is no drama with Buzz… he is welcome to play any time… we just moved around so we could continue to record and gig… Somewhere along the lines we tracked some splits and Poisoned Apple for Century Media… .. .. Two labels later, we remain independent. A big fuck off to the label world as we embrace a time of artistic freedom. We played the European classic Obscene Extreme and Curby graciously released Poisoned Apple on color vinyl the way it was intended – for the under ground. Back in Europe for a couple of weeks of dates, before Napalm and Brutal completed our touring responsibilities there… Currently we are headed to Japan, then a couple of weeks through the States on the way home in September… Yes the tracks for the Wolfbrigade and Bruce Banner splits are done… They will come out when time permits… And yes – we are set to record the next LP in January with Sanford Parker… We will let you know when the release dates happen and who will put them out then – until then… .. ..
