So many times we are so absorbed in the things that have happened in the past we find it difficult to forge ahead. Decadent is no different, she is facing the fight of her life. Will her past destroy her or make her stronger? How long can she play the victim and require everyone to indulge in her? Decadent cannot call on anyone to save her this time; she must face her worst enemy, herself. Athena has proven to be the warrior friend time and time again but will Decadent’s stubborn attitude push her away for good? God has given her many gifts and He doesn’t take rejection too well. Will she miss out on the greatest gift of all?
Take a look into Decadent’s life through her eyes and maybe you can see the things she can’t. While she is so busy playing the victim and blaming past events on her behavior, she is missing the things God has intended for her. Loving life and being adored may cost her greatly. Like her mother always told her, she is like chocolate, everybody likes it but too much of it will make you sick.

Sometimes in life, we just need someone who believes that we can. And more importantly, we must have the guts to believe we can. Yes, We sometimes get knocked down by our circumstances and situations, people run off and the thing that we want does not give the impression to want us. But it is in those times when all hope is gone that our understanding must raise its beautiful head. We can make it. It may not be easy, fast or rational but in the blink of an eye or a snap of our fingers, things can turn around.
