Well, meeting new people, having fun in any way possible, and Music, and, well, that's pretty much it for now. lol. I mean, there are so many things I like, but it's hard for me to pop off from the top of my head without being in a conversation on a specific topic. Obviously, I don't really like to talk about myself too much, but I like to talk so go figure.
Music
Anything Rock, Alternative rock, metal, my old band, anything local has to be checked out... I just love music.
Check out my old band!!= .. Dramatikpauz

<2u4rX07O0eg3q0o target="new">Which Empire Records character would YOU be? Hmmm? You're a laid back, guitar-playing kind of person. You're talented and you love to share the wealth and the spotlight, giving newbie singers a chance. You also look for the best in people as friends and romantic interests. You're hip and you have Deb as your on again-off again girlfriend. You're doing alright for yourself!

This will be my section where I give what rules and laws of life I come up with or learn over the next few months. This list will change periodically, and will never be complete.
1- Any positive change brought on by nothing but negative forces, cannot be truly positive.
2- When dating, be very weary of people whose major in college is directly related to theater. Although these people may be good people, they often are very confusing or over dramatic. They also are very temperamental. This is merely my opinion, but everyone I've ever known to go under this topic has been this way.
3- Most mild illnesses and physical conditions if internal can be controlled or suppressed by conscious effort to make yourself believe that you are in fact not sick. The mind, being as powerful as it is, can control much more about you and your being than you would think.
4- "Famous last words" sometimes really are, and if it bares a strange resemblance to the situation at hand, there should be warning to this.
5- Common sense is more precious than gold. Without it, some may die. Don't believe me? Check out the Darwin Awards.
6- Get to know people on your own accord. Don't take other people's opinions of someone over what you may find out on your own. Now, I'm not saying be totally oblivious to your friends trying to help you out if there's things you should know, but at the same time don't let them steer you. Get to know people by who they really are, inside and out, and what they mean to you. If you only listen to what others tell you, you'll never know if they were right. Remember, everyone has opinions, and a lot of them won't match yours. Don't take for granted the fact you are blessed with free will.
7- People won't like you if you are constantly talking about how much better (or worse) you have it than them. This life is to be lived, it is NOT a contest on who has the harder job, or who can do this and that, etc. There is always someone who has it worse than you, and there's always someone who has it better than you. I don't want to hear all the time that you make more money than me, or that you're stuck working for minimum wage and you're 36. And I definitely do not want advice on business and careers from anyone who has been unemployed for more than 60% of their adult life. I won't even settle for 30%. In fact, if you cannot keep a solid job for more than 3-6 months, I don't want to hear any advice from you. I've been in the same place for over 5 years now, and I am damn good at what I do. And there's guys there who have been there for 20+ and are amazing at what they do. Just be happy with what you have, or go get something better, but don't rub either in the faces of other people.
8- I feel that everyone should get in touch with nature, even if for no more than to remember that it's there. This planet is full of wonderful and wonderous things, many of which are a short walk or drive from where you are, no matter where you are. Take time out to visit nature sometimes, it can help you relax and get away from it all. Well, that and you should never take for granted how great we have it here. There is so much beauty out there, just step out and take a look every now and then.
9- ...To be continued...
Heroes
My Father, my grandfather, Mom, my friend Mike, and everyone who comes out to our shows that don't have to be there but rather want to be there.
Also, there are others who have greatly inspired my life. They know who they are, whether they want to believe it or not.
About me: Ok, well, I'm 24, I'm a technician for a local company that works on and distributes jukeboxes, pool tables, arcade games, dart boards, and things like that. I spent a little time in the Navy (hence the hoody in one of my pictures), but things didn't work out there so I'm back in Southern Illinois. lol. Yay. I used to play drums in an alternative rock band, but now I'm looking for a new avenue to continue my learning and growing within music. I love music and I'm really into the whole local music thing. I'm very opinionated, I'll speak my mind, and won't lie about anything, but at the same time I will try to not be rude whenever possible. I am a Christian, but I have varying beliefs in my own way, beliefs that most won't understand unless they asked me about. I may not live the "perfect Christian lifestyle", but nobody is perfect. It is the effort and reason that matters anyways, I feel. We all have our faults, it makes us unique, the very essence of individuality, the quality of variety, the spice of life. I enjoy anything from sports to just hanging out with friends and talking til we can't hardly stay awake. I'm somewhat adventurous, but at the same time I'm very laid back too. I try not to let the simple pleasures in life get too far away, and gro more and more each day into believing how really fragile life is afterall. HOwever, this has made me gow stronger and I am not ashamed of who I am. I'm fun-loving and can be quite the comedian when I get into storytelling with my friends, or so they say. If you want to know more, contact me and ask me anything.
Two very good quotes: Love is a gift in this life... " ...Life is too short. When two people finally find each other, what should ever get between them?" - Steve Carrell
"Don't worry about the world coming to an end today, it's already tomorrow in Australia" - Charles Schultz ('Peanuts' comic creator)
Feel free to contact me at any time, just let me know who ya are. lol.

Sometimes there are moments where the truth may not be evident, but what is said to be the truth is so obviously wrong that you cannot miss it. There are times when someone has to put themselves out at risk of their own well-being to get to the bottom of unjust and heinous lies. I find myself standing at one of those times and wish there was more I can do to help. However all I can say is go to this link = <5d1VVH3ICtfKIt4===><"Blog about Tony"> Let me know what you think and if you were a friend to him, comment on the blog post. I stand tall in support for Carroll and though I do not ask anyone to do the same, I do ask anyone who can read it to make the right decision and do the right thing. There are times when justice fails the people, and there are times the people can do something about it. This is one such time, people, don't let the chance to do something good slip by. --Venson
Hey bro. Sorry things didn't work out on the trip here, but I understand. It does suck. But on the bright side. I can still hopefully make it there, and hangout for the bday. It'll also give me some more time to see anybody I didn't get to the first time. So, we're gonna have some fun mayne. Take care bro, and hope to see ya in a couple weeks. :)
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS! Does your band need a place to play, but are sick of the jerks serving as "Venue Nazis," hosting only specific Cliques of bands? ...us too! Screw that. Who needs it? Guess what? Your wait is over! We are Virtual World Promotions. Our goal is to give EVERY rock band in SOUTHERN ILLINOIS a stage, not just girl-pants wearing whiners, but METAL heads, acoustic rockers, experimentalists, whatever, a place to play and the means to accomplish their goals. We're here to swim upstream with ya! The cool thing is that we book at a venue in Carbondale called the Crown Jewel Lounge. We're taking a grassroots approach to re-building the Southern Illinois rock music scene one step at a time. Its really a group effort. We're ALL in this together. As a band, you can either be part of the PROBLEM or part of the Solution! Let's build a sense of community and brotherhood for EVERYONE in our area who love to rock out. There's plenty of space for bands and music fans to mix and mingle, and on Saturday nights, get pretty dang toasty on the booze (If that's your thing). Saturdays are our full on drunken rock fests! The Crown Jewel is a bar, but we host All-Ages Rock shows on many Fridays before the bar ever opens. These events are targeted at the younger crowds who can't attend the bar concerts. We think this will help to keep kids off of the streets, smoking crack and shoplifting, ha! Shows never cost more than $5 on either night. We have a full on sound system and publish the weekly rock shows in colored ads with Carbondale's NIGHTLIFE Entertainment Newsweekly as well as the local events calendar. * So enough about the Crown Jewel already, I'm sure we'll see you out there soon, but, its not the only place bands are rocking out. If you're in a band, and have shows coming up, let us know in a myspace message. Yes we have a Myspace, and it is VERY active. But only as active as the bands who contribute to it directly! No we
I love that quote on your page by steve carrell. Sorry we couldn't chat much friday night. It was good seeing you anyways lol. So when are we going to play ball again?
