VE=NT is a middles school poetry slam based in Albuquerque New Mexico. VE=NT was founded by Sal Treppiedi and Danny Solis three years ago. This competition started in a middle school cafeteria with 8 teams from 7 schools,that rose to being almost 27 teams from 25 schools, and the "working circle"(organizers of VE=NT) pan on it being almost state wide by next year.
