For thousands of years, the world has known Venus as the goddess of love and beauty. No other could equal her power of feminine persuasion. While Venus sat long admiring herself in the mirror, her brother Apollo was rocking and rolling. He wanted to get the better of his sister, Venus by creating the most perfect creatures in the heavens or on earth. So Apollo, the god of music and the most handsome of all the gods chose Calliope, the wisest and most talented of all nine muses to be his lover. Together they created four goddesses who possessed not only the beauty of Venus and Apollo, but the musical gift of the muses. Venus became so jealous of their beauty and talent that they could not coexist in the heavens. Now these four goddesses reign supreme on Earth as Venus Envy.
