Back 20 years ago, the industry was valuable. They used to hold real views
and cultivate real tools. Unfortunately those days have long gone and have
been replaced with music with little or no meaning, talking about nothing of
nourishment & growth. The usual 7 suspects seem to pop up in nearly every
hiphop song.
1. Money
2. Cars
3. Drugs
4. Crime
5. Guns
6. Material possessions including jewellery
7. Women.
I'm sick of these half baked and half hearted revenue generated beats
designed to only tickle the surface but not to challenge the mind and
provide the raw materials for growth in men and women.
I feel for the youth, the most who are soaking up this nonsense because
most haven't heard any better.
These tunes that emerge today, 6 months down the line are completely
dead. They just don't retain the revivability as tunes from the pre 97 era.
I'm just doing my part as rapper and producer to provide all with quality
beats and wholesome lyrics to chew on, digest and get the mind thinking.
I'm just sick of these rubbish tunes being pushed off myself and the
particularly the youth!
