Constituído em meados de 1996, o Grupo de Fados e Guitarradas Verdes Anos resulta de um envolvimento cultural e Académico marcante de cada um dos seus membros nas várias facetas ambientais de Coimbra. Todos os seus elementos integraram activamente diversos grupos e organismos da Associação Académica de Coimbra e ao longo the mais de 10 anos interpretaram e recriaram o repertório da canção de Coimbra. Em 2007 encontram-se a preparar um novo trabalho discográfico.

The group "Verdes Anos", named after a song by Carlos Paredes, was created in 1996 and is the result of a deep involvement of it's members in the academic and cultural life in the city of Coimbra. All af them are, or have been, students in Coimbra and active in the cultural life of the city.
"Verdes Anos" have performed in several cultural events all over the country (ex. Euro 2004, Coimbra-National Capital of Culture, Expo98 Lisbon, TV and radio broadcasts, city halls and tribute to personalities related to music from Coimbra) and abroad (performances in Italy and Macau, representing the city's culture as well as trips to Germany and Japan).

Verdes Anos, thanx for becoming friens! Miguel, there is a song on my profile (to be find here: "More music by musix: 12 trax from the past") with the title "Patricia". It is actually my first recording, put on tape in 1985 after some fun weeks in Figueira da Foz. And yes, it is about your sister - give her my regards! Cheers Werner
