    theReason666 and JCL2000 will be spinning the usual weird rock you're
    used to and Pete will bring the rock you're not (unless you know him,
    in which case, you probably like) so come have a... beer from the bitchin Verdugo selection and get ready to rock your Merry asses off!

    Tom Waits Orphans Box set and Glitter & Doom Live are coming out
    this Tuesday on vinyl and your friendly neighborhood Reason wants to
    celebrate with you at the Verdugo Bar on Saturday afternoon. I'm going
    to spin the vinyl of both releases and we will have the beer pong
    tables set-up as well as board games (come on, you kn...ow ya wanna play
    Scrabble while listening to Waits), food, and the greatest beer
    selection in LA. There are 6 new tracks on the vinyl version so even if
    you have the CD there will be new stuff to hear. I'm going to try and
    secure a few for you fine people to buy since this thing will sell out
    quick. From what I've heard there's only 3300.

    Join us this Monday the 16th as we bring you another installment of RENDEZVOUS! We will be screening "Le Pacha" starring Jean Gabin, and 70's Italian cop thriller "A Man Called Magnum." We've got all your favorite Turkish fuzz, psych-funk, Latin, French & Italian soundtracks, and Brasilian goodies ready to be served. I will also be handing out copies of my latest DJ Mix creatively entitled "RENDEZVOUS!" Just hit me up for one. DJ Jimmy opens the night with classic hip-hop downtempo gems. 10PM and no cover!

    party for the re-release of Brant Bjork's Jalamanta. We will each get
    behind the turn tables to bring you the rock and Cale will be spinning
    from the LDP catalog as well as some other desert rarities.

    Here the skinny on the reason we are doing this:
    So to commemorate 10 years of this rock n roll classic Low Desert Punk is
    reissuing it on 180 gram virgin vinyl with a 24 page full size booklet,
    new photos, lyrics, & liner notes in an embossed gatefold cover and
    it will be limited to 1000 copies. We will be selling it at this event
    for less than you will get it anywhere on-line or in stores! We may
    have some other LDP stuff as well, so come down and see what happens.

    Got a bit of glam set to go with the flyer, plus 80s synthpop (Kim Wilde, Taco) 70s soul, funk & disco (Foxy, Zapp, Kool & The Gang) and a smattering of groovy instrumental gems, PLUS a special screening of Zardoz, featuring Sean Connery trying to look like Burt Reynolds.  Verdu-A-GoGo, all vinyl, all the time.
