veteran multi-instrumentalist Shastro teams up with shamanic healer Nanda Re to musically pay his respects to the glory of the natural world.
Soft, lightly rhythmic pieces are the focus of BODYHEALING, featuring music taps into the key tone of 'G' - a revitalizing tone that corresponds with the energy of the root chakra.
Shastro plays the flute on the recording, as Nanda Re weaves her texture of lush nature sounds, tamboura, harp, strings, keyboard ambience and singing bowls. The music moves at a gentle, relaxed pace, matching well with the ocean waves and wind gusts that weave through the backdrops.
The music was created with the goals of increasing your connection with the natural world and providing a spacious atmosphere for relaxation - it succeeds at both tasks.

The never ending OM, sung in a deep voice and the strong female voices flow and create a harmonious dialogue between the male and female parts of one’s self. This music synchronizes left and right brain hemispheres, activates the crown chakra and transcends the powers of the sacral centre into service to higher values.

The Viennese artist and producer Verena Bruckner released a new music series titled Nanda Re in December 2007. The selection offers functional music, meaning music which offers far more than artistic sound experience: it specifically supports processes of both the body and the spirit. Nanda Re creates a combination of shamanic knowledge and the power of mantras with cosmic and kinesiology principles of tones and sounds. This unique connection presents listeners with an impressive sound experience.
The CDs are available in esoteric book and music stores in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The series is released by the new music label Pitanga, and distributed by Silenzio (www.silenzio.de).
Nanda Re was composed by Verena Bruckner and was completed with the highest quality standard. The 48-year old, (mother of a 9-year old boy) builds a bridge between the artistic-professional and the shamanic-spiritual worlds in her work. These two worlds have their place in her everyday life as well. Her musical foundation was laid at an early age, at the Mozarteum University of Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts in Salzburg, where she was born. Followed up with a classical degree in theatre (acting) -also at the Mozarteum-, and numerous appearances and many years of experience on the theatre stage in Aachen and Bonn. Currently, Verena Bruckner is working as an advertisement and synchronic speaker in Vienna, Austria. In addition, she successfully manages a recording studio with her husband Thomas Kohlwein, and has flourished as a musician and singer. For many years she has been involved in shamanism and meditation, rebirthing, elements from psychodrama, NLP, deep relaxation and visualisation, and completed a course to be a firewalker instructor.
It was three years ago that Verena Bruckner introduced her functional music to a wide audience with her successful 10-part-series “That’s Wellness” with EMI Austria. Musically, she shed light on topics such as “Awakening”, “Sleep”, “Stress Release”, “Pain Release” and “Tantra”. By applying functional music to such practical issues, she created a way to well-being in everyday lives.
The new music series, Nanda Re now released on her own label Pitanga, is part of a whole concept, which will include related products, e.g. energized scents and Mandala posters in the near future. .
