Vermilion Sky was a metal band from Kansas City, Missouri that was fairly recoginized despite there short run of close to 2 years. During that short period of time they did manage to win the first Metal Wars promoted by Jim Kilroy. They also took the gold for another battle of the bands at Groundwork Coffehouse prior to the Metal Wars win. They had the wonderful opportunity of playing at most of the local venues around KCK and KCMO. During there time as a band they had developed quite a fan base. We went through one line-up change when David (bass) left the band, and Kyle Crouse took his place about a week after his quitting.
