About Verminous

VERMINOUS was formed by Linus Björklund (guitars/vocals), Pelle Melander (Guitars) and Andreas Johansson (drums) in August 2002 with the aim to do extremly blasphemous old-school Death Metal.

VERMINOUS recorded their first official proof of existence in the form of a 7"EP also for the same label.

In March 2003, and after some months of negotiations, VERMINOUS signed a deal with spanish label Xtreem Music and the band began to work on the last pieces for their debut album "Impious Sacrilege" that was recorded and mastered at the JFK Studio in April for a later release in July of the same year.

In May 2003 Simon Frödeberg entered the band as the vacant basist's place of VERMINOUS.

The16th6toothson	Jul 9 2009 12:13 AM yah! i almost played Scurvy but i played them a few weeks ago anyway, almost played the Delve EP/MCD too but just forgot. absolutely Worship Murder Squad! Grotesque are GREAT, Death Breath is always great fun, i never was that into Defleshed..., i didn't include Daemon... because they are more Danish but Seven Deadly Sins is mostly a Swedish lineup so... hmmmm i also missed Unanimated, Coercion, Comecon and loads of other great bands... too bad i have to sleep and work HAHA!!! thanks for the addition, always have and always will love VERMINOUS!!!
