Travel, playing NDS & PS2, listening to music, dance, amateur photography, theatre, watching tv or movies, shooting 8- or 9-ball, reading, drawing, spending hours on the internet, and including my kid, family and friends in any of those things. Eventually sleep.
Music
Just about everything from hip hop to R & B to reggae, alternative to classic rock, techno to latin, country to musicals, and jazz to opera and classical favorites (and some rap songs). My faves are Nickleback, Papa Roach, Disturbed, Three Days Grace and random songs I remember.
Movies
No Reservations, August Rush, Wall-E, P.S. I Love You, Phantom of the Opera, 300, Poolhall Junkies, Jet Li's Fearless, Shrek, 2 & the Third, Hitchiker's Guide To the Galaxy, Mallrats & Kevin Smith's other Jersey chronicles, Princess Bride, the Pixar movies, Office Space, and more. I prefer comedies because I could use a laugh everyday.
Television
Comedy Central Presents, CSI, CSI:Miami, Food Network's Unwrapped, CMT, Law & Order, TV Land, History, Military, Discovery... pretty much whatever catches my interest while channel surfing or walking into the breakroom at work.
Books
Eragon, Eldest, both by Christopher Paolini; P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern; Shut Up, Stop Whining, and Get a Life, and other books by Larry Winget (he has a way with words). I have quite few books I haven't finished yet, as I've been too busy; I read online articles alot though.
Heroes
My mom and dad for being patient and supportive of me while I figure things out for myself... life has taken some weird turns on this rollercoaster.

Job's Daughters
About me: I did my time in the Navy. Went on deployment halfway around the world and now I'm back... and in the Navy Reserves. I guess my hometown is Moline, IL, and I'm back for a couple of years.
I enjoy traveling around the U.S. and overseas, if I can. I have lived in a few states, plus I lived over in Germany for a time. I am enamoured by culture, art, and enjoying the little things in life.
I may not be able to tell a joke well, but I enjoy the humor of others. Intellectual conversations can get interesting too. I also enjoy websurfing, music, movies, tv, videos games, theater, and dancing.
I live to learn, and I guess I'm still learning how to live life to the fullest.
Who I'd like to meet: Interesting people who don't mind that I don't smoke or drink, or that I'm a vegetarian. I respect that everyone has their own personalities, and that makes life more colorful. =)
Any Navy people out there?
For those who know about Job's Daughters, or are interested, I was a member of Bethel 28, Leavenworth, KS, then demitted to Bethel 5, Davenport, IA; where I became PHQ, later Miss Congeniality (Iowa), then Miss Iowa Job's Daughters, and eventually Majority Member. I've protemmed and held Guardian Secretary for a couple of years. I've also been involved with Bettendorf Ch DeMolay as Chapter Sweetheart and attended the Iowa and Illinois DeMolay events where I've met some *interesting* people. ;)
