…. Creativity …. A curse or a blessing? Been trawling through the knicker drawer of my artistic ventures over the years and found some incriminating evidence, not least these three tracks recorded in the spare bedroom with various musician friends. It all began at Bristol University when I ran a post-punk night called The Era Club [nominated as the best club outside London in 1983 byTHE FACE]. Seems like a long time ago now as I turned first to the small screen and then to writing novels. Just moved publishers to Orion Books, who published 'JUST A FAMILY AFFAIR' in April 2008.

Hi Veronica, Thanks so much for wanting to be my friend! I've read all of your books and you must be my favourite writer at the moment. Can't wait for your next one. If you need any help with researching drugs/alcohol let me know as that is what i do! (not drugs, i am a young persons substance misuse worker!) Keep up the good work, Love Jay x :)
Thanks for the add. I was so excited to see the request. I love your books. Definitely worth the cost of shipping from the UK to the US. I bought "An Eligible Bachelor" first and then had to order the rest. It's great to see you here. I'm looking forward to your next book.
This is a first for me and a little hard to believe actually.
How do you write to an aurthor, i just dont know where to start.
Well I'll try.
I'm sitting at work today, which is a temporary arrangement, which gives me no satisfaction whatsoever. The book man has just made a delivery (highlight of my 8 hour day) so i pick up the most coloufull and interesting of the bunch, ( They are beutiful by the way) and am truelly thankful they have a wider range than the ABC collection usually left for the mother's and grandmother's. I think to myself, i'll check the author on the internet to see which one of three book's to read first. An Eligable Bachelor; Honeycote or Wild Oats. I'm thinking Honeycote as I love a bit of Drama and scandel but i was hoping to know which order they were wrote in, as to take the journey you had taken to write them.
The main reason I wanted to do this was to give you an insight into a stranger's perception of your book. Think of it as extra research.
I am going to buy the books and read them, obviously and do a, sort of before and after.
If you have time, in your busy schedule, you can ask my any opion I may have. If not I will simply thank-you for the read, or, maybe not. ha, and send you my opinion anyway.
As I'm searching Google, to my surprise I see a link to your MYSpace and here we are. I see you've just become a member. This will be a great way to promote and express yourself and I am living proof it will do the job.
I cant possibly imagine I will recieve a reply but i wanted to show my apprecition and be the first fan added to your "Friends List". You should be very proud of the talent you have, you are blessed.
I wish you all the best with the remainder of your career, and everything else in your future.
