Michael Naus Jr. (aka Vertigo Blue) fronts his synthesizer driven music and the album release of "Area 51". The title song, Area 51 obtained worldwide dance club and radio rotation followed by being listed on the Entry List for Nominations for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards (Dance Category). Released under his own, Ozmotic Records, Vertigo Blue's format provides emphasis in the Electro, Electronica genre. The birth of Vertigo Blue in 1996 began as a band (former members Colin Travis, Stacey Quebodueax and later Jason Walsh). Landing a song on a Control-Alt-Delete compilation album lead to immediate major radio airplay throughout the U.S. and Canada, the song was "Christmas Day". In 1997, Mike took Vertigo Blue into a solo role exploring his interest in the genre of Electronica and released "To The Future" EP under Ultra Trec Records (Austin, TX) label.
In 2005 with a series of CD compilations and live performances- Vertigo Blue launched the album titled Area 51. Area 51 establishes intense break beats and four to the floor rhythms. Synthesized vocals described as "Alien-like" share the idea behind the album's name and title song, Area 51. All ten tracks on the album had obtained both club and radio airplay throughout the U.S. and into Europe within months of the albums release. Songs from the album: Glowing In Black Mist, Intensity and On My Own are proudly featured in the 2006 film release by Jeff Faulkinbury titled, READ ON. In November of 2006 Vertigo Blue's song "TUNDRA" listed number 8 on Houston Radio 90.1FM KPFT SOUNDAWAKE program for top 10 songs of last 10 years. (Both songs can be heard here on MySpace)
Vertigo Blue has performed over 200 shows throughout Texas alone. In January 2008 and 09 Vertigo Blue attended NAMM in Anaheim, California as a guest of NAMM and The Recording Academy. Be sure to see the photo album for the California visit here on the Vertigo Blue TM MySpace page. Vertigo Blue is currently working on a new album as well as upcoming shows.

One man is surrounded by synthesizers, various electronic gear and video screens. That one man is Michael Naus, also known as Vertigo Blue. His last album release, "Area 51," gained recognition on the entry list toward chosing the nominees at this year's 50th Annual Grammy Awards. Now with over 200 live performances under his belt in the Texas area alone, Michael
Naus is ready to take on his next challenge: the world.

Thank you, I was looking for some good new music and Pete directed me your way. I wish I could see you perform with Nitzer Ebb that's sure to be an awesome show.
Welcome back to your home from the US Tour! Had a fun time hearing you perform at Chicago Street Pub in Joliet. We'll still be here if you ever come back this way again. I think you've opened a lot of minds here that formerly only knew what Rock and Country was. Good job!
We had a sweet time last night at the "Vertigo Blue", & "Life is Drama" show in Joliet at the Chicago St. Pub. In addition to you blowing us away with your mind kickin' tunes I have now added Life is Drama to my awesome bands short list, they were great too, though I swear you constantly amaze me with the ability to masterfully come up with totally original bangin' songs, I never get tired of hearing your stuff. I still can't pic a favorite cuz I love them all that much.... I'm waiting for the new CD with baited breath for sure! Thanks for the best show I have seen up here in a very long time, we need to get you up here a lot more. It was a bitchin' night!
