VERTYGO PROJECT, ALEXANDER FUNKMACHINE aka VENUSIAN LIBRA on his real name Alexandru Ghita, was born in Bucharest, Romania, on 14th of October in 1986 and he was fascinated by music at a very early age. This was largely due to his parents, his father who listened to old italian music and his mother who had an eclectic taste in music, listening from rock & folk to disco and funk music of 70’s & 80’s. Besides his love for music, Vertygo Project slowly gained more interest in technology and computers starting with 4th grade of primary school and at the age of 13, his parents bought him a brand new computer and a big professional organ. During his adolescence, he always was walking to the school or to countryside at his grandparents in vacations, and all the time, while listening music from Jean Michel Jarre, Disco Compilations cassettes, ATB, Sash! and many others. His passion for music beggins in the early of 96′ when he started very much to listen music to the radio where he discovered many genres and from there started to appear many questions about music and how can be produced. From that moment on, he started to envolve more and more into the music and her misteries and when he had his first computer he started to search for artists and their productions and also to learn about genres of music, what are the messages of every musical wave and after couples of years he started to collect CD’s and vinyls with electronic music, mixes, and so...his knowledge has enlarged. Vertygo Project’s ambition has driven him to have many undertakings at the same time: studying music by his own, playing with samples and diffrent programs for music production, and playing as a DJ at friend’s parties and private parties. He, like many others says that the only way to be able to do so is by enjoying the work that you do, so keep it real and don’t go chancing!

VERTYGO PROJECT, ALEXANDER FUNKMACHINE aka VENUSIAN LIBRA pe numele lui real Alexandru Ghiţă, s-a născut în Bucureşti, România, pe 14 octombrie în anul 1986 şi a fost fascinat de muzica de la o vârstă foarte fragedă. Acest lucru s-a datorat în mare măsură parintilor săi, tatăl său, care asculta muzica italiană veche şi mama sa, care a fost atrasă de muzica electronică, care asculta de la rock şi folk la disco şi funk din anii 70′ şi 80”. Pe lângă dragostea pentru muzică, Vertygo Project dobândeşte mai mult interes în tehnologie şi computere începand cu clasa a 4-a de şcoală primară. De la vârsta de 13 ani, părinţii săi i-au cumpărat un calculator nou şi o orgă profesională cu ajutorul cărora a început să-şi creeze primele “producţii”. În timpul adolescenţei, el era fascinat întotdeauna de mersul pe jos la şcoală, în vacanţe la bunici sau călătorii cu trenul prin ţară şi toate acestea în timp ce asculta în căşti muzica lui Jean Michel Jarre, compilaţiile Disco pe casete ale anilor 70’ şi 80’, ATB, Sash! şi mulţi alţii. Pasiunea pentru muzică începe în anul 1996, când a început să asculte foarte multe posturi de radio, unde a descoperit mai multe genuri şi de acolo s-au născut întrebări despre muzică şi despre cum poate fi aceasta creată. Din acel moment a început să se implice mai mult şi mai mult în muzică şi în misterele ei. Odată cu primul calculator a început să caute artiştii săi preferaţi şi producţiilor lor şi de asemenea a urmărit să afle despre genuri de muzică, care sunt mesajele fiecărui val muzical şi n-a mai durat mult până a început să colecţioneze viniluri şi CD-uri cu muzică electronică, astfel cunoştinţele sale deveneau din ce în ce mai vaste in acest domeniu. Ambiţia l-a condus spre mai multe preocupari, în acelaşi timp: studia muzica pe cont propriu, jucându-se cu diferite programe destinate producţiei muzicale, mixând pe la diverse petreceri private, organizate in cluburi sau cu prietenii săi. Vertygo Project, ca şi mulţi alţii afirmă vehement că singura cale de a fi în măsură să faci acest lucru este de a te bucura din plin de munca pe care o faci, aşa că rămâi original şi nu te schimba!
