very of us pros/firewater/afro classics emerges with the freshness. 'bout it since circa 1993 with partner knows of us pros, very debuted with "elements of expression"in 1997. His first and only solo effort "the coffee shop" dropped in 1998 to much acclaim.Other group projects followed, including us pros' "blame it on us" in 2000, "afro classics?" with scarub in 2001, "firewater" with voice watson in 2003, and us pros' "have you seen us" in 2005.
now very's back with afro classics' "the classic ep" out now with the full album coming summer 2009. He is working on his first solo album in over 10 years and will (finally) officially rerelease the coffee shop with unreleased tracks from that era PLUS a fresh mix of cuts recorded over the years entitled "color" available ONLY from the man himself- that means you gotta come see afro classics on the G&E tour! stay tuned!
