Yo! Wassup?! My band members are: my ace Yamaha FG-300A, my Tele, my sibling Casiotone's; MT-45 & MT-70, my handy little Zoom PS-04, GarageBand and part-time member DJX (Curm Ohown!), oh yeah and anyone who decides to play live with me ...microKorg in da house
I'm actually trying to lose weight, but let's not talk about that. Luke has been rehearsing with his boss new band - Luke Mawdsley & The Explosive, I've been touring round Germany with MTTS and Daniel has been ripping shit up all over Chester's legal system so we've not done much lately, but we've pencilled in some recording for January, so the first "band" recordings of VB should be in your ears shortly. It will be on fire.
10 Bands / 10 Minutes - A Dookie Tribute
Yo! My day job is in Married to the Sea, Married to the Sea are putting on an awesome night of entertainment this Saturday. 10 bands will each play 10 minute sets and cover at least one song from the 400 trillion billion selling album Dookie by Green Day. It will be amazing, and it will only happen once in your lifetime. Be there - Saturday 8pm, Liverpool Barfly, £4.
Daniel & Luke
To aid me in my quest for global domination (i.e. play this gig on Friday) I've enlisted the help of Daniel Melia and Luke Mawdsley (who you may know for hitting things in The Sporting Life). It's gonna be dreamy!
It's all kicking off!
The lovely people at "Carefully Planned" have asked me to play at the Liverpoolathon (!) night on May 23rd at Kro Bar in Manchester. It's going to be chock-full of Liverpool heavy-weights such as; Arms at last, Puzzle, Voo and Married to the Sea! Out of my depth?! I don't know what you mean?!
Almost famous...
I've been asked by Kool Tone Records to put a song on their upcoming compilation CD, which is nice — Thanks guys!
I haven't decided which song to give them yet, perhaps you can help me out?! To vote for me to stay on X-Factor Strictly Come Dancing On Ice please call 0906 123 4567 or text GREG to 60300
New Songs!
...well nearly. So there hasn't been anything new up here for ages. All that is about to change. I'm gonna do some spring cleaning and put some crazy hits all over your face(s) — Get your dancing shoes on!
MTTS // Radio 2 - Janice Long
I'm pretty excited about the VB performance on Janice Long tonight - everyone thinks it's gonna be a MTTS session, but I'm gonna hijack it (...Sssshh! Don't tell anyone!). If you too tired or whatever (it's on at midnight) I think it'll be up on the BBC site for a bit http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/long/
Handle with care
You Are 20% Boyish and 80% Girlish
Even if you're not a girl, you're very feminine. You're in touch with your feelings, and your heart rules you. A bit of a emotional roller coaster, one moment you're up and the next you're down. But no matter what, you try to be as cute and perky as possible.

Word!
...and so you might be thinking that sounds a bit like Greg from Milk, and then you start thinking - "wait, isn't that the guy from Business Owls?", and then you'll be all like; "Shit dude! it's that guy from that new band that have got a really cool name about something nautical", and then I'll be all like; "No way dude!". Then after all that you'll be all like "Woah! That's the guy that recorded my band in The Hottie" and I'll still be all like "Hey man, that wasn't me, it was just some dude that looked like me!" ...and then you'll probably click; "It's that dickhead who did those gay From Soup To Nuts nights in Manchester", but I'll be all "Hey! Wait! My shit IS dope!"
Like fellow Liverpudlians Hot Club De Paris...with bouncy, choppy riffs and a very much danceable rhythm, synths swirl like a demented fairground ride while the boys perform fantastic, sing along harmonies. MAKE NOISE AND DANCE
Elks
Jerky post hardcore pop complete with rousing manic vocals. a bit like Fugazi and Charlottefield FOOTBALL
Rotary Ten
Latest signings to Xtra Mile (home of Dartz!) "'If The Smiths had gone to college in the US this might have been their sound. Complex, melodic guitar entwines with an 'anthemic' chorus. Possible classic.' The Observer
Beat The Radar
"catchy vocal melodies with precise backing vocals on top of angst guitar and clever drums create a package for success" SANDMAN MAGAZINE
"Itch are quite breathtakingly, pant-twitchingly awesome. Songs stop, start, fall over themselves, kick themselves up the arse, explode into cataclysmic bursts of energybefore suddenly veering off into seemingly irreconcilable tangents that seamlessyly reconcile themselves within the space of a few minutes"
Arms At Last
"Arms At Last sound like what would happen if Dartz! and Hot Club De Paris had an affair." FuckingDance. blogspot. com

Plenty of harmonies, hand claps and guitar taps make for another band to add to the list of super fun bands being produced in Liverpool at the moment.
Am I exempt from the voting process? if not it's gotta be 'Indictment Jawbreaker'. Make sure the phone lines are closed after voting has ended to avoid a Richard & Judy type scenario.
Snap! I'm such a stupid A-hole for not getting back to you. Everything over here is amazing. Sam(uk) hasn't sent that thingy yet but i think it's because i forgot to get back to him, i'm so F'ing lazy! It's no big deal though, we're trying to finish this movie FEATURETE first before we start on the next one. So it's all good! How are things over there?! We should go to wawa again soon. PEacE!
Yep, at that exact moment I really was considering the massive leap I could do off the bass amp. But I thought I'd wait till a more appropriate occassion, I'm not sure the world is quite ready for my rocking out leaps off equipment. P.s...yep they are Gef's pictures, he did a good job P.p.s 'Go simmo' indeed, we're planning on stealing him for our band. ssshhh don't tell anyone. x
G-Vac is no computer wizard even though the big red beard may lead on otherwise. He is out in the western part of los estados unidos driving and firing off pictures at random. I hope you boys and girls are eating well across the pond!!
we had to get rid of him because business owls never had a lead guitar and we forgot that you guys is our hero. b.b.b.o! thanks for the kind words, it makes it all worthwhile! hope all is well up your end.
