An evolution from the attitude of her electronic influenced "VETTE" EP (2007), “Wonderlust” floats along on a tranquil sea (with a few stormy moments of exception), reflecting the influence of a mellow tone that slipped beneath the artist’s skin while living in Nashville, TN.
While the word Nashville may stir up certain stylistic expectations, these songs don't speak to Southern culture or country music; but more to the authenticity found in so many of its musicians.

"This voice needs to be heard..." is not an uncommon response from those who listen to VETTE's music.
A singer and songwriter from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, currently residing in Los Angeles, VETTE left behind a promising career in arts management at the john f kennedy center for the performing arts to try to find a way to make a life out of chasing the things that make her crazy - like love and songwriting.
After graduating from Georgetown University, VETTE found herself in a tidy career helping other artists come to the United States to perform on the Kennedy Center stages. But before long she ditched security to try her luck at the Berklee College of Music where she studied as a vocalist and songwriter, led her own band and wrote and recorded the songs for her first EP, “VETTE”. There she received awards from the songwriting department and was encouraged to spend some time in Nashville. So following Berklee, and a broken up band, Ms. Vette spent a stint in Nashville, TN, where she wrote the songs for her second EP, "Wonderlust".
VETTE lives in LA, and is currently seeking radio play and film/TV placements for her Low Cut Records' projects. She is also working on a new album of her own and a series of dance pop singles for other artists with cowriter/producer Mark Byers.
