At the age of 3 he was forced to see his father for the last time of his life, because of abuse and near death of his mother. Another sister was born 1987, but again witnessed his mother abused by his stepfather. At the age of 10 living with his 2 sisters and single mother, he decided to never call another man dad due to what was witnessed by previous father figures in his life. He grew up a quiet child until graduation from high school in 1999. With no intentions to show weakness he turned to the streets living a double life, innocent son, brother, and boyfriend to the family, careless and coldhearted man on the streets. B-NYCE was born Lloyd Clayton III in Fairfield CA, to Lloyd Clayton Jr. and Doreen O'Brien on June 30th, 1987. Growing up in a extremely strict household do to his father being an Elder and his grandfather pastoring there church, B-nyce found his love in music. Although he loved his craft as a child it was hard for him to achieve what he wanted because of his constant battle with asthma as well as his mother being sent away to the PEN. That didnt stop him, he pressed on singing in church with his older sisters Tayzhea and DolaMae of F.A.M. in the gospel group Voices Of Inspiration and in the Pentacost Temple Gospel Choir. In High School B-NYCE was president of afterschool club Ethnic Success and the captain of the Phi Gamma Step and dance team. Addition to the afterschool club he was in the Sylvan Choir, one of the top show choirs in California under director Mr. David Barthelmes. After graduation he moved to Texas attending Texas Southern University but that came to an abrupt hault do the hurricanes of 2005.
