I have gone far too long with little to nothing written here "about me" and I do apologize for that, but in all honesty I rarely have anything to say about myself. To state the most obvious, I am very withdrawn and quiet. Those of you that have spoken to me can testify. I will very rarely initiate conversation with anyone who is not already close to me, so I leave it to those who truly wish to know me to decide whether they would like to make contact. I rarely send out "friend requests" myself, but if you have received such a request, thank you for intriguing me. Also, if you do take it upon yourself to add me as your MySpace friend, I hope that you will take the time to contact me. There are far too many on my "friends list" that I have never heard from, and I find that a terrible shame. Surely a few of you must be brave enough to do so...
If I have read a message that you have sent to me and have not replied, do not take offense. It often takes me several hours, if not days, to construct a proper reply so please be patient. It could also be that the message I received was simply "How are you?" or something similar. Please understand that I receive far too many inquiries as to how I am feeling on a particular day to reply to them all. Again, do not take offense to this as I mean none by it.
I never, or very rarely, accept "friend requests" of those without a profile picture or those who have a "private" profile. I have received far too much so-called "spam" from doing so, and to free myself from the irritation, I simply deny them. I hope that you understand.
