Bran-Knew (pronounced "brand new") one of the Illest Underground Veteran Emcees coming out of California! Real Struggle! Real Life! Real music! Shortly after completing the highly anticipated street album "The Bloodline is Precious" with his younger brother MC-ENEME, Bran-Knew was arrested and is now facing nearly a decade behind bars! Although it is not the first time being locked up, it is the worst time! When the Street album was released old fans quickly understood the importance of the music recorded, and were taken back by Bran-Knew and his younger brother and prodigy MC-ENEMEs natural chemistry! Which is undeniable! New fans became very absorbed by the new quality in hip hop they had just discovered! After only experiencing a little bit of the love and appreciation given by fans, Bran-Knew was locked behind bars! Which created a mythical type of legend out of his music, considering he no longer has the privelage of recording new material! Bran-Knew has been struggling his whole life, and music has been his outlet! If u are interested in writing and contacting Bran-Knew, feel free to message this page with anything u want to say directly to Bran-Knew! We will make sure he receives your message! Bran-Knew has sent us a poem that might help u understand his current situation..
"I cant accept the regrets nor' how they played out,
Its amazing how they try to pry and stretch the days out.
Breaking down; in prison hell but a felons Mistakes,
are spelled in paved upstate,
waiting to exhale and be saved, in a shaded cell of 6 by 8."

The latest..
"Plexi-Glass Windows"
"Staring at walls where paints peeled, like stainless steel, tares off gunspray that shares coffins that the nameless built. Somedays i feel my timings off..crying to god till' my knees calloused, defying my thoughts to beleive so he sees the balance. See i've challenged my dignity in a thousand ways, grounds been paved with what hes given me in 2008, foulplay and felicity dont mix.. risking these things in an astounding day, now we can say that shit fits the epitome of "Down the drain". What a foul-ass phrase but it staged the title it seems, NO SURPRISE TO ME, MY WIFE WALKING AWAY WAS THE FINAL SCENE. Like the shock of blades to my spinal and spleen.. i was stabbed and carved, initially like her initials fequently cracked my heart. Dramatically hardly fits the script, floating in a fog.. going on emotions and thoughts; but which is which!?! im 26 but live with stress i keep in a cage, this can make me believe im 78. Destiny and fate are funny things minus the laughs, cuz im a dummy to think my life has added up to this slab... of gravel that i un-ravel my feet to walk, and sleep on this fragile sheet and cot. Unleash my thoughts with fists and tears and allow the pair to change yer' mind, cuz ya cant live in here and out there at the same time. Now theres some game to save time... Not with calenders, cuz their foul with words, spittin days with shit they say to challenge yer' nerves. How it hurts is next to the sadness when the wind blows, a sense of no hope, like the dead expressions embedded in these plexi-glass windows.."
