Infused with improv and audience participation, original songs and cover tunes ranging from Pop and Rock to R & B and Rap, Vickie and Nickie will take you on a zany journey as they share their rise to "fame," family stories and their own special take on the world today all while accompanying themselves on guitar, accordion, saxophone, violin, percussion, Casio keyboard, ukulelee and anything else they can get their hands on.

Welcome to the official MySpace page for Vickie and Nickie, the singing sister duo straight from the hills of northern Minnesota! Vickie and Nickie, suburban housewife sisters with 10 children between the 2 of them, got their start singing in church and the local nursing home as youngsters and moved on up to charity balls and the prison circuit as they got older. One day, during a performance at the Minnesota State Correctional Facility, an inmate said to them "Hey, you ladies should take that show on the road there…" and they thought, "Yah, why not?"
Well, the girls never looked back and lo and behold, Vickie and Nickie are now gracing prisons, hospitals and other illustrious stages all over the US of A. Accompanying themselves on guitar, saxophone, accordion, casio keyboard, violin and tambourine and anything else they can find, Vickie and Nickie perform their own original songs and also have a fun, engaging repertoire spanning the musical spectrum from pop, rock and soul to country and hip-hop. They love to perform songs from their favorite movie musicals, too! So, whether it’s that exciting Olivia Newton-John/John Travolta duet "You’re the One that I Want" from Grease, gettin’ down with Wild Cherry’s " Play That Funky Music White Boy," or serving up one of their own kooky original songs, you betcha that it’ll be a performance you’ll never forget!!
