About me: "...this moody, fast-paced debut falls into the growing 'dark fantasy' category, which blends fantasy, comic book superheroism and paranormal romance, but holds no promise of a happily-ever-after. ... Pettersson centers her story around the signs of the Zodiac, putting an imaginative spin on a familiar setup. Though graphic scenes (in which tongues are severed, heads ripped off, etc.) will repel some readers, others will embrace Pettersson's enduring, tough-as-nails heroine and anticipate gleefully the next volume..."

Who I'd like to meet: Readers and other writers of dark urban fantasy. I'm also here to reach out and touch/torture all my showbiz friends I don't get to see every night anymore.
Me, in failed party-girl mode.
I have to tell you, I was very excited for the third book, and I have not been disappointed, Though I do find myself asking Joanna to think alittle more before she acts.
I just finished the chapter where she catches 'Rose' stealing her moment with Ben at the costume party and I let out a sign and closed the book. I still feel that impact, though im sure I dont feel as bad as Joanna is.
Thats a rough break for her. When did you decide the Regan encounters, because I think you probably had to fingure at least most of them out to have your general idea for the plot before you could add your stunning details.
Im actually quite interested in how a 'Real' author forms the first solid plot and then adds underlying themes !plus! involve most or all of other charictars and each of their unique personalities. Its a daunting idea to me that leaves my creativity tapped and a story with no twists or real interest. Maybe im just good with my vocabulary; Did you take college classes on creative writing?
Hi! FINALLY! The 3rd book is out... I've been waiting forever! Gosh.. hahaha... So you know i'll be making my way to Nellis to get the book... once again.. my hubby will be mad... hahaha.. oh well. =o) Keep up the great work!
Just got done with ToT!! It was just as good as I expected it to be. You're truly a great author who inspires me to be a better writer too! ... when I'm not sitting in pharmacy school... ;)

Love the book. I am actually re-reading it again because it was so good and I might have missed some things. I prepped by re-reading the first two, (which are dog-eared, by the way) and this is the best yet. The twists and turns, surprises and changes, oh my, I have to stop playing on here to get back to my book. Tata, Teresa
Bought the book today :) Yeah. You know you love an author when your in the middle of another book, but have to put it down for the newly released book. Yep, that's yours!
My mom and I are avid readers. I came across one of your stories in the Holidays from Hell book and I just wanted to tell you that I can't wait to go to the bookstore and get as many of your books as possible. I also love that I found a bunch of new authors to check out by viewing your profile page.
