My name is Vicky, but if you hear someone call me Vicky Dale, they have known me a long time. I have two great kids, John who is 16 and Catie who is 14. There is a lot of laughter in our house. There is also screaming because teenagers are so hormonal. I do a lot of praying raising these kids. We attend St. Agatha's Catholic Church. At one time, I thought I would be a cop. However, lupus changed a lot of things. I swore I would never let Lupus "define" me, however, it is best that it has. I have met many friends and have became a stronger and more spiritual woman. I was unable to handle the extreme conditions of being a cop: my night vision is horrible since my immunosuppressants causes stiffness in my optic nerves. I still pursued my Masters degree in hopes to become a professor. Right now I am on disability working part time as a substitute and in hopes of teaching a night class to get my feet wet. I am all about Constitutional Law. One day I would like to work on my Doctorate.
We have two dogs, Muddy Waters and Jackson. We love animals. We carry extra food in the car to feed the hungry animals. If we could, we would start our own shelter. I would train them to eat clowns.
I love my family, Johnny Cash songs, daisies, patriotism, the smell of my old teddy bear, the feel of doing something good for someone in need, meaningful music, and coffee breaks.
