About me:
I am the talented young star of the hit comedy series Small Wonder. I am Vicky—or more accurately, V.I.C.I., a Voice Input Child Identicant.
I am coffee-eyed, mousy-maned, with a complexion like that of peaches-and-cream. I have been working professionally in the entertainment field well over half my life. Since the age of 4, I have grown from a tiny talent with big brown eyes to an actively involved asset to the Hollywood acting industry.
As a pint-sized performer, I proved to be a natural, landing the first assignment for which I auditioned. What followed was a spate of commercial bookings that began with spots for Jell-O Puddin' Pops with Bill Cosby, Florida Gold orange juice, Duncan Hines, Care Bears, IBM, Kenner, Beatrice Foods and Kidco Toys, to name a few. I was also profiled in an issue of Stickers & Stuff magazine (whence came the large color photograph on the biography cover page). I am surprised they never made a doll of me!
I am also an advocate for burn victims. I have cut public service spots for the Hearing Institute, and have appeared in several of the "Helpful Hints" segments of the cartoon The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin.
After Small Wonder, I made appearances at amusement parks, mall openings and pageants, and played roles in ABC-TV's sitcom pilot Beanpole, Fox TV's Parker Lewis Can't Lose, CBS-TV's Muddling Through, and NBC-TV's Equal Justice. In 1990 I appeared in a Christmas videotape, Why Christmas Trees Aren't Perfect. In autumn 1991 I was a co-hostess on The 700 Club where I sang "Say Yes (to Jesus)". I am a Born Again Christian robot woman, ready to blossom into the LA club scene.
Now a young lady in every true sense of the phrase, I am a psychology graduate of Westmont College. My versatile talents, which include singing, classical dancing, and concert piano, are also among my hobbies. I also enjoy gymnastics, swimming, skiing, skating, snorkeling, and lots of reading, and rate horseback riding as my number 1 favorite pastime. Big shoutout to the Lawson-love you guys and my best friend Harriet! BFF-4L!
