About me:
Lambrusco lost his parents at an early age. When, after a lengthy search, he was still unable to find them, he fell in with a pack of New Forest wolves, who for some time had been stalking him with a view to kidnap and consumption. Once they got to know him, however, his new lupine chums grew to consider Vic an affable creature (for a biped, anyway) and set about introducing him to their weird and wonderful wolfy world. One day, some years later, the now adolescent Vic and pals were engaged in their customary twilight pastime of ripping the throat out of an incautious sheep, when Vic stepped back from the bloodshed, and began to intone strange rhythmic patterns with his vocal chords. Performance poetry was born!
Now the wolves, some of whom had always disdained Vic's unnecessarily complex verbal capabilities, realised it was all over with their adopted human colleague, and banished him from the pack. Vic, now a radical vegetarian, was dispatched immediately to the London Borough of Islington, where he earned a living making his strange intonations to a room of Volvo drivers high on "cappuccino". The rest, as they say, is history...
Several tours of Germany, two recording contracts and various press, TV and radio coverage followed. Vic hasn't let any of this go to his head, though. Sometimes, when the moon is out, he thinks nostalgically back to his humble days of cave dwelling, high-pitched howling and eating raw meat. And he sheds a tear...
