Victor Bruises Easy was spawned some years ago on a small dairy farm, just outside Henning, MN; specifically, in a red barn. When you’re in a suburb of Henning, you’re truly in the middle of nowhere. With desolation and vigor, VBE sprung forth. The details of that exact action are too graphic to share here (but you can shoot us a message and we’ll elaborate). We can disclose that it was a damp night; the cows were full of milk and the churns full of butter. The moisture in the atmosphere formed a perfect circle around the moon, like a halo of sorts. At the precise moment VBE drew its first breath, an owl died and the clouds parted; a chorus of angels sang, “AHH, AHH, AHHHHHHHHHH.” It was a harmony so beautiful and heartbreaking that women and men alike cried without being able to comprehend, children rejoiced in knowing, and even Old Scatch himself pet a dog. The moon shone down in a red hue and stars streaked in anticipation, as if they were racing toward a future where VBE created and shared. This is that future.
As the elders tell it, any time you feel despondency and exultation simultaneously and irrationally, Victor has indeed Bruised Easy. It’s also why most barns are red.

Sometimes at night
As I lie alone
With sins and fear
The demons come.
They sing a song
They play the notes,
They say the words,
"Keeping face, face keeper."
Ooohhhh, those aren't demons; it's just Victor. My bad.
Oh my Gosh! BONE MACHINE*!!! Stop that! My apologies! He's like a crazy puppy dog! When he keeps shooting at You like that, it means he likes You.

It's a good, clean song about the love between a man and a woman, and another lady, and maybe a couple of sisters; then again, it could be about the love between a woman and a man, and this other fella...
In any case, we wrote it for you. Please give it a listen and tell us what you think. We hope that you like it.
mother fucking hell. that is some wicked ass shit, bruise brothers. holy mother of christ on a motorbike, that shit is heavy. it is nausea sublimated, a holy sprinkling of puss from on high, a glorious dive into oceans of bile.

"drug the children" is without question the feel-good record of the year. bruise me, brothers. bruise me good.
