About me: I'm the author of 4 novels with a fifth on the way. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I can't sing good, but I can sing loud. I found a ring in a cave once. The guy with the beard and pointy hat says to throw it into a volcano. I like red wine, cold beer, hot chicken wings and tepid pool water. I'm a world traveler and can speak mallard.
What? You're still reading? Okay, here's some real information. I earned my Ph.D. in English at the University of Southern Mississippi where they beat me with rolled up newspapers and fed me raw liver. My first novel GUN MONKEYS was nominated for the Edgar Award. My work has been translated into French. Italian, Spanish and Japanese. My new book is a bit of a departure from my crime stuff. It's called GO-GO GIRLS OF THE APOCALYPSE, and Simon & Schuster will publish it next year on their Touchstone/Fireside imprint.
My Marvel Comics debut PUNISHER MAX SPECIAL: "Little Black Book" hits stores in June 2008.

My debut novel, The Cuckoo Parchment and the Dyke, has just launched. If you get a chance I'd be grateful if you'd go to my profile to find out more. The story's about Dada, art and artists, and the attempt to instigate revolution by means of art.
Many thanks for the add! I'm just finished to read your book "Gun Monkey" out in Italy last year and wait the new "The Pistol Poets" translate from Luca Conti
Hi, Victor! Thanks for accepting the add! It's nice to meet you. :)
Check out my website some time, for good horror/supernatural fiction. On the website you can safely download a selection of my stories in .pdf format absolutely free!!
Also, check out my blog here on Myspace and subscribe so you know as soon as I put new stories on my website!
I have now lent all my Victor Gischler books out to friends. Go-Go Girls I just lent to Elizabeth Marshall this past Saturday. Turns out she lives in the next town over, Green Cove Springs. Small world. We found each other on the other networking site.
I want more Fred Jones. Just a book with him and his Motley bunch as the leads. You could have this whole multi-colored busload of ex-gangsters doing a Tom Wolfe-like book tour and being chased by wannabe-writer FBI agents and old enemies who want their cut of the royalities.
Thank you for the friendship. As you can see, I am a writer promoting my work on myspace. I have a fiction blog where I post short stories as a way of staying in touch with fans and to give potential new readers a chance to gauge my work. It would be very cool if you'd check it out.
