Founded in 2002 by a handful of like-minded individuals who wished to reconnect with their culture and preserve the unique a cappella traditions of their ancestors, the Victoria Doukhobor Choir has quickly expanded to welcome many new members over the past few years. Our ever-growing numbers serve as a testament to the desire of our Doukhobor youth to preserve the songs that form the foundation of their culture and faith. The Victoria Doukhobor Choir has performed at many local events, fundraisers, and concerts, bringing our timely message of peace and brotherly love to appreciative audiences throughout British Columbia and Saskatchewan. We are a close-knit family that loves to sing together and celebrate the diverse talents and interests within our group. We welcome new members of all faiths and cultures who are interested in promoting global unity through the harmony of the human voice.
yeah, I had some cool arrangements in mind for the choir, but I've traded my illustrious music career for one in welding this summer. It pays a little more. but I'll finish them when I find some time.
