New Single
My new single "You Remain" has been shipped to 2,200 radio stations, on a format called CDX. For those of you who don't know, this is a country compilation cd that comes out of Nashville every month with major artist's 'latest' single on it. It is then sent to the radio programmers to be put into the rotation. It has received some great airplay (587 spins last week!) and has climbed to number 15 in the Netherlands. PLEASE CALL your local country radio station to see if they have the single (let the station know it is on CDX volume number 363) and would play it for you.
Bio
Victoria Venier is a multi-talented singer/songwriter who is originally from the historic town of Dixon, Illinois. Staying in the heartland, she attended college at Millikin University where she was an honors graduate in Commercial Music Performance. She began her professional career at Busch Gardens (Tampa), where she sang, danced and served as vocal director of shows for three years. In pursuit of her lifelong dream of being a recording artist and songwriter, she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee to begin that journey. She has been seen and heard on the many stages of Opryland USA and on the General Jackson Showboat.
In the recent past, she has been featured at many of Nashville's hottest music clubs, including the world renowned Bluebird Cafe. In addition, she has been a guest on the Grand Ole Opry!
Currently, Victoria continues as a professional songwriter/artist. Her original works have captured the attention of artists such as Alison Krauss, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride & The Backstreet Boys...as well as music supervisors for film and television. She has had singles released by other artists in Canada and Japan as well as here in the USA.
Never sitting still, Victoria is currently on tour with 'The Acoustic Cafe' a show that salutes songwriters and artists. She is also doing many tour dates with her band to promote her cd. Sometimes, you can even catch her in the national tour of American Big Band. When she's back in Nashville, she's busy writing that next big hit...or recording it. While free time is something she doesn't get a lot of, she does enjoy rollerblading, Taekwondo and her many animals...which includes her Siberian Husky "Rascal".

Victoria's cd "When You Come Around" is an excellent example of superior songwriting and infallible vocals. This is basically a country album and Victoria's vocals provide a loose grit that adds interest to the songs and punctuates key points within the lyrics. Of course, this takes timing and her timing is dead-on. Whether it's a pop/country rhythm or a ballad, Victoria brings the songs to a new level of life that is intended for true enjoyment by the listener.
