A son of God send to glorify the King of kings and the Lord of Glory Jesus Christ, Victor Steve is not just an amazing artist with a hear full of the Love of God, he is the voice of God speaking to the nations, tongues people, tribes, unto all men the truth about the only True God in Jesus Christ whom He has sent. Who is God in Christ and why He came to save us His enemies from the wrath of God to come? Who is He and why He loves us more than Himself? Many people do not believe in God, many do not know Him by His name, but listen to His son who is in Him, Victor Steven who comes in the name of the Lord and if you believe in him, then you will believe the One whom God has chosen to bring the good news of salvation to the world trapped in great darkness which is the ignnorance of knowlege of the Christ.
The Christ was of God with Him before any physical name of religion was named, and any man that was named, that men called gods because of religions. Christ who is the image of the Spirit, for the Spirit is God was before all, will be after all and always appear in the pure in hearts.
Victor Steven, born in St. Kitts in the village of Newton ground, West Indies, the seed was planted by Livingston Julius his father into Thelma Flemming his mother. Even tho Victor's father was not much around, due to the life stile he chose, Victor's Love for him grew stronger with every trial he faced as a young boy and his love for his daddy today is even stronger and they are at peace with one another. Feeling the void of his father in his heart, Victor's mum Thelma on the other hand showered young Victor with so much love and affection. Humbled by life and full of questions Victor grew up seeking for the God who created him, and every living thing he so much admired. The void in his heart was not only because his daddy was not around, but because he had not find his greatest strength and Love God, the One who loved the world more than Himself.
Seeking truth to understand righteousness, he started to express himself the best way the Lord placed in his heart through righting music, and the words God placed in his heart were healing and comforting to his restless soul. He started writing music and lyrics at the early age of 15, as he sang with great passion and his voice became an instrument of expressing his innermost feelings, his pain, his love, his joy and most of all the desire to find the Giver of Life. Even tho he was an young adult his heart remained pure as the heart of a little child, and as he looked upon the heavens, while going through the trials of life, he knew that there was some One Greater than all and He knew all the answers to the many questions arising in his heart about the World he lived in.
His greatest love was Reggae music, music that makes the hearts of many glad, just by listening to it even if they are sad, but the music he so much once loved, than was and still is polluted by the enemy, who turned the minds of men from God to the earth and the things of the World, violence, self righteousness and rasisam that was causing divission of the onness of God which is love, peace and unity. That drove Victor Steven to start recording at his early twenties. What he knew deep in his heart and his soul and what he wanted to voice out of the purity of his heart was no longer to be kept in silence, but had to be heard now by the multitudes. After all we are who we are and we speak what we know. And so did he.
His influences were the Christ, king David, the Lord Jesus Christ, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and his wife to be.
Back in the days, he wrote things he belived in, but now in this day and age he speaks of the things he knows, now he speaks the hidden misteries of God, that men may hear and believe and go unto His everlasting kingdom, which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. This comes from being a true witness of the Truth. The Truth he was commanded to take to all the world and set the captives free forever. And the Truth He knows is the Word of the Living God, which is Love, Light and Everlasting Life, the Life in Christ Jesus, to them who will receive Him.
