Our mission as Victory Dolls is to learn and grow both personally
and within the competitive world of women's flat track roller derby
by remaining solidified with our fellow teammates, by exhibiting
respect in the way we communicate, and honor in the way we train
and compete. It is our intention to both practice and hold ourselves
to the highest standards of sportswomanship. We are strong,
independent women who have banded together to do what is best
for our team, our communities, and ourselves. OKVD... Send in the Girls!
New Recruits...
VD wants you! We will be having new recruit practice every Monday Night! Sign-up is from 6:30-7:00, and training from 7:00-9:00. Be sure to bring a mouthguard! All other equipment (Skates, Helmet, Knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards) will be available to borrow, but are in limited quantities. Who I'd like to meet: Anyone and everyone who wants to be involved in Oklahoma Roller Derby! We need sponsors, refs, trainers, and volunteers to help us get out there! Okay the Oklahoma humane society has this hilarious competion going on. 8 Contestants are now taking the My Life as a Dog Challenge! Between now and September 19th, these folks will be chained to doghouses in Bricktown in an effort to raise awareness of the cruel practice of chaining dogs. The individual who stays in the competition the longest or wins the people’s choice award in the event of a tie, will win a free Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicle donated by Chesapeake Energy Corp. So if you will please go to www.mylifeasadogchallenge.com and vote for our good friend Johnny aka "Puck" for the peoples choice. It is totally free for this, but there is also a tab you can pull up to help him along the way.

We have created a way for Roller Dodge players and Derby leagues to partner and support each other. Roller Dodge teams in your area can be a good source to recruit future derby skaters and they are very likely to buy tickets to derby events.
