Victory Pill is the brain child of former Pitchshifter and Prodigy guitarist Jim Davies.
Formed in 2004 the bands line up features Davies on guitar and vocals with former Prodigy drummer Kieron pepper providing Bass and vocals, Pete Crossman on live synths and beats and Alex Baker handling the live drum duties.
Victory pill released their well received first download only single "Another clone" in September 06, this was followed in April 07 by the Critically acclaimed main single ’Worst case scenario’ released this time on limited edition C.D and vinyl.

The accompanying video was shot by the french based DOSEprod, whose previous works included 2 videos for Pitchshifter (’Hidden agenda and ’Dead battery’).

The self titled debut album was finally released in the U.K on October 1st 2007, again to widespread critical acclaim. Produced in the main by band member Pete Crossman the album also featured 4 tracks produced by DJ Hyper’s production partner John Ross, with band member Kieron pepper cutting his production teeth on the single ’Worst case scenario’

And if you get bored and have nothing to do, enter the Black Velvet competition to write a song for Black Velvet and get played on our profile. I know you won't, but a nice Victory Pill song about how Black Velvet rules would sound awesome on our page. ;-)
See i ordered the cd off corporate punishment with a t-shirt mid october, and still have yet to receive the disk. So hearing another song is a treat for me! Thanks fellas!
The new look is nice but I think a kind of red could be better than this kind of purple (?) The artwork of the ban is awesome. It could be great to add some new songs...

HIM! Doom or dawn? When HIM singer and mastermind Ville Valo says, “I’m striving for happiness bit by bit, song by song”, he’s not kidding. Having been through one hell of a year, struggling with personal demons, alcohol and the breakdown of a relationship, ‘Venus Doom’ could mark a turn in the love metaller’s life for the better. In his most honest interview with Big Cheese ever, Ville tells all about his extraordinary journey through darkness.

After several listenings... Another comment to say (repeat in fact!) that this first EP is THE best electro album of the end of this year and a very good surprise. A perfect mix between electro/rock/indus. "King and country" and "Free-fall" are so beautiful (I hope there will be soon one of those tracks in your myspace player). Congrats to all the band members and to your live drummer : Alex
Hey fans, visitors or whoever you are : "Victory Pill"?... I don't know the meaning of this title but it's sure that only one listening will bring you power for the whole week. Perhaps it 's the best pill to take in those darks days...
