Passion of the Christ, El Norte (A moving, authentically done film about a brother and sister fleeing from Guatemala to the United States after their parents are killed), Romero (An excellent movie about the archbishop of San Salvador and his journey from coward to champion of the poor to death at the hands of a right-wing death squad - produced by a priest friend of this author who wouldn't give up until he was able to tell this powerful story), Dead Man Walking (A superb movie whose plot mainly concerns capital punishment, this is based on a book by a real-life nun/prison chaplain whose ministry to death-row inmates broadened to include the families of their victims), Good night and Good Luck, An Affair to Remember, Godfather, Friday, Serpico, Carlito's Way, Stand and Deliver, Schindler's List, Philadelphia, Gone with the Wind, Before Sunset, Kingpin, Napolean Dynamite, The Last Samurai, The Karate Kid, Troy, Forrest Gump, Splash, Training Day, Malcolm X, In the Line of Fire, Rules of Engagement, Dog Day Afternoon, Scarface, A Girl From Paris, The Sixth Sense, E.T., Day after Tomorrow, Psycho, Jaws, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, The Aviator, Nicotina, Amores Perros, Titanic, Anything Charles Bronson, Anything Clint Eastwood, Goodfellas, Casino, Born in East LA, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club, Can't Buy Me Love, These are movies I can think of seeing and at a time enjoyed them, some funny, some scary, some action packed, some sad, some pretty bad! Refer me to a movie and i'll watch it...Anything but the Da Vinci Code.
