Vidauxs is a combined short for “vidi, auxskulti”, two Esperanto words which literally mean “to see, to listen to". Vidauxs is a project, a space, a network, an indipendent netlabel which aims to research, promote and distribute experimental audio and video productions, to encourage the artists oriented to a visual listening of the electronic music to share and enhance their own experiences. From IDM to the experimental projects vidauxs means to emphasize the visual aspect of the electronic music promoting audiovisual productions. Vidauxs has chosen the web as virtual stage and space to promote and distribute audiovisual projects in Italy and abroad. Vidauxs will choose any audio/video production where the interfacing between sound and videos is dynamic, far from the static concepts of traditional video editing and video-clip. The field that Vidauxs is trying to explore is related to the following open keywords: “dubbing-in” of the image, visualization of the sound; to sound video; soundimagination; improvisation; live media, liveset, live cinema...
