We are from Pittsburgh, PA and like you, we were born in a small town and we live in a small town and we are bringing our love of a small town to Bloomington next week for our multi-media tribute to your community in a show called Bloomington: The Opera, at the beautiful Buskirk-Chumley Theater.
Our show is not exactly ‘opera’, but a multi-media live concert that weaves music with video projections, props and puppets. To see more of what we do check out our website at http://www.squonkopera.org.
Bloomington: The Opera includes amazing Bloomington dance groups – IU’s Gumboot Dancers, Windfall Dancers (celebrating their 30th year!) and some elegant ballroom dancers from the Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
