This is the music I was first exposed to, already in utero as my mother sang in the church choir. I grew up in that music, sang along as a babe-in-arms, and later joined the choir when I was six or seven, and carried on singing with it on and off until my voice gave in some fifteen or so years ago. It is my "formative" music, the foundation upon which I built my own music, whether it was blues, folk or jazz in form. It is the basis of my personal sense of harmony. You will probably need to click on pause at the beginning of each song and let it buffer all the way before playing. Enjoy.

I use ImageShack for the hosting of most of my images.
I used to be a very good musician (guitar, keyboards and singing) until osteo-arthritis and damaged ulnar nerves made it impossible for me to play, and chain-smoking damaged my vocal staying power - advice to all young singers - for heaven's sake, don't smoke!
I am also an artist - the problems with my hands have made it difficult for me to hold a pencil and paintbrush more than a couple of minutes at a time, so I have become a digital artist as I still am skillful with a mouse. Therefore, I will be posting some of my artwork now and then. I will post miniatures of my work so that any enlargement will look crappy. This is to protect my work from wannabe thieves. I will soon set up a cafépress shop whence those who like my work will be able to buy it.
Another of my creative outlets is photography, so you'll find some of my work too, under the same conditions as my artwork.
Early diagnosis of Primary Immune Deficiencies is critical to good health outcomes. It still takes an average of 9 years for most patients to get diagnosed. My experience with PI has made me determined to help improve things for all patients. Please help me raise awareness by joining my cause.
