THE BANDS - THE BOYS - AND THE BIRD



I am MANIAC’s Personal/Business Manager (SKITLIV, SEHNSUCHT). I manage Norway's SLAGMAUR, NATTEFROST, VRANGSINN (CARPATHIAN FOREST, NATTEFROST, SECHT), PANTHEON I, BLACK HOLE GENERATOR, SVARTRAVN SORGTUNG (the Industrial project of SVARTRAVN), and VRAGVOLD; the German Melodic Epic Metal band CROM; the Turkish Black Metal band EPISODE 13; the Italian underground Black Metal band ORCRIST; the UK Black Metallers DAGON and his bands FROSTWORK and HEATHEN DEITY and LEVIATHAN and his band WRITTEN IN TORMENT..; guitarist CLAUDIO ALCARA ( STROSZEK , FROSTMOON ECLIPSE , AERE AETERNUS ); Ukrainian Barbaric Black Metallers BALFOR; the Austrian Black Metal Band VALFEANOR; and the Brazilian Black Metal band IMPETUS MALIGNUM. I'm overseeing SINDECADE, the Black Metal side project of CROM and former DARK FORTRESS vocalist AZATHOTH. I am also what's known as the Shining Propaganda Department, working with Niklas Kvarforth and SHINING. I work very closely with HELLSAW, VULTURE INDUSTRIES, HELHEIM, VANDÖD , ZIFIR, SLUDGE, FOSCOR, LYDIA LASKA, KVELERTAK... Oh what the hell, if they're in my top friends I work with them. I also work with others, but there's only so much room on My Top Friends.



It started out just as a favour for a friend, and took on a life of its own as more bands started asking if I would help them too. Aside from Management and PR, I edit lyrics, promo material, web site content, correspondence etc., for bands whose main language is not English. I will also write the original material if required, and can translate from Italian and French if necessary. I network for bands and labels, advise, research and, well, do pretty much whatever bands and individual musicians can think of that they need (you’d be surprised at some of the things I’ve been asked for!). If I can’t do it, then the chances are that I can point them in the direction of someone who can.

I am happy to ADVISE Black Metal bands that don’t earn a reasonable living from their music, time permitting. I know how hard it is for a band to survive out there, and let’s call it my personal contribution to a genre of music that I can’t live without. I cannot, however, take on the management of a band, or do any promotional work, without charging a fee anymore, I need to eat now and again, and it's not fair to my own bands!

PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM VERY, VERY, BUSY WITH MY OWN BANDS, SO IF YOU NEED HELP YOU NEED TO GIVE ME PLENTY OF TIME TO DO IT. I ALSO CANNOT HELP YOU TO BOOK CONCERTS OR TOURS, I DON'T GET INVOLVED WITH THAT AT ALL.
