THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN

For ten days in February the second largest film festival in British Columbia captures the imagination of the city. Filmmakers and industry decision - makers all surge into Victoria to create new connections and dazzle audiences with new works. Live music, dancing, exciting discussions all happening in gorgeous temperate Victoria – an old world European style setting. The Festival unreels 150 films on 6 screens around Victoria and attracts continually growing audiences. Jumpcuts
June. Come play with cameras, computers and creativity for ages 10-14 and discover the amazing and exciting world of film. With some of the local industry’s top professionals, we offer the chance to experience over 18 hands-on workshops. The Festival includes FREE film screenings and demonstrations and nominally priced workshops that let the creativity flow.

My Victoria
November - January. A video competition to create a 1 minute film about what most affects and interests you about Victoria. The competition is open to all ages and skill levels and is designed to encourage the budding filmmaker in everyone. All videos are displayed at downtown businesses and winners take away great prizes.

    Hello!! Thanks to you for accepting my friend request!! What's going on on your side of the country? Here, in Montreal, winter is coming quite fast, it’s not even 5 pm and the sun’s already sleeping and it is getting pretty cold !! I'm a musician and it would be really cool if you'd take 10 sec of your life to hear my songs on my page.
